What do I want to be when I grow up?

I am looking into Master's programs, because if I want to do it, I would need to stay probably Spring 2011.

Options:
One: A masters in library science with a school media specialist concentration I would get this to be a school librarian. It's close to home at St. John's University in Oakdale, a few towns away, but requires me to get my teaching certification and complete the masters and a certification.
Two: A masters in speech communication Much farther away. It's about 45 minutes without traffic, and slightly less tuition than St. John's. I would complete this to be a Speech Communication professor (though a full time position would require me to get my PhD.)
Three: A masters in Adolescent Education At Dowling, after Gordon and I are married, I could attend school for free and get my Masters in Adolescent Education for English. It's not my ideal career choice, which is why I'm not jumping at the opportunity.
Four: A masters of liberal studies Also at Dowling, this masters would possible allow me to adjunct teach on the college level either at 4 year or 2 year institutions... I think?

I was drawn toward the program at St. John's but finding classes that fit around my work schedule might be an issues. Plus, I don't know how long it would take and if after all this, will I really be happy as a librarian and will there be any jobs?

  1. Liberal studies would be the most fun. but itll be so super hard to get a job teaching.

If you go to St Johns and get the library stuff done, can you do the teaching stuff for free at dowling?
